Daniel’s assessment
The detail that matters
I would shortlist AlphaMD for its specific supply quote, then ask for the complete treatment invoice. A 10–15-week range is useful information; it is not a promise that everyone gets fifteen weeks at the same cost.

- Published price
- $229.99 per 10–15-week supply

A reason to shortlist it

- Clinical review before prescription
A reason to pause
- Supply duration varies with the prescribed plan
- Complete consultation and testing cost needs a quote
Compare the supply, not a made-up monthly rate
AlphaMD advertises $229.99 for a 10–15-week supply and $264.99 in California. It ties the duration to the clinician’s dosing recommendation. That is a different billing unit from a subscription advertised per month.
I would resist dividing by the longest possible duration to make the price look smallest. Ask how much your actual prescription supplies, when another purchase would be needed and whether the quote includes every required service. A fair comparison starts with the same time horizon.
Where the value question becomes clearer
The product page describes online intake, medical review, clinician consultation and delivery if a prescription is appropriate. That creates a useful sequence: the clinical plan establishes the supply, which establishes the cost.
Use the three-month planner for a written quote rather than converting the headline into a guaranteed monthly budget. Leave testing and consultation amounts blank until AlphaMD confirms them. Unknown is not the same as included.

Read the goals separately from the offer
AlphaMD discusses energy, sleep and recovery. Those are broad treatment goals, not a measurement of how its service performs against competing clinics. I would make the consultation about the specific symptom or goal that brought you there.
Our approval and compounding guide is a useful companion. Ask the prescriber which evidence applies to the actual formulation, what follow-up will assess and what would lead them to stop or change the plan.
Who I would put it on the list for
This is worth a closer look for someone comfortable evaluating a supply-based quote and asking for the remainder of the bill. It is less convenient for someone who wants an immediately comparable all-in monthly price.
Before choosing, put the written AlphaMD estimate next to one monthly program. If the timing, supplies and follow-up are still different, keep those differences visible rather than declaring a price winner.
